Award-winning Canadian journalist and author specializing in health care issues. André Picard is a reporter and columnist for The Globe and Mail and leads the newspaper’s Montreal office. Known nationally for his insightful commentary on public health, he currently lives in Vancouver.

Anthony Quinn
President of CARP (Canadian Association of Retired Persons). CARP represents the voice of older Canadians and plays an important role in CFUW partnerships who advocate for policies that support Aging in Place across Canada.

Dr. Sharlene Webkamigad
Indigenous health researcher, educator, and advocate. Assistant Professor at Laurentian University whose research focuses on Indigenous health and aging, particularly supporting Indigenous older adults and communities.

Dr. Janice Keefe
Professor and Chair of the Department of Aging and Family Science at Mount Saint Vincent University. Director of the Nova Scotia Centre on Aging and a leading expert in gerontology, health policy, and aging research.
